Baked Beans

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large (approx. 53 oz.) can pork and beans

Cut bacon into 1 inch lengths. Fry until crisp. Remove bacon and drain all fat except 3 tablespoons. Fry onions in bacon fat with seasoned salt until soft and slightly golden. Remove from heat and add ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.

Pour beans into a 13x9 inch casserole dish. Stir in bacon and onion mixture. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 20 minutes.
