Jenny: I'm not sure how this happened. I almost feel like I was in some alternate dimension when this was snapped. Mandi: This was right after she grabbed my breast. I know I was in an alternate dimension. :-)

Jenny: The annual DOTB dinner. Now and forever at the Horton Plaza Food Court. There was no screaming, no crying, no horrible fuckups this year. Much lower stress, and overall a pretty good time, as you just pulled up another table if you wanted to. Sure, not as nice, or as much fun, but I just don't care anymore. Sorry, Cam. We can go out to nice dinner some other night. Mandi: I think for everyone's sake, it should be at a place like this. My only complaint is that like all other dinners, you get a really loooong table and can only hear what's going on at your end. This year we were split into some kind of weird old school end and newbie end. Maybe next time someone can con the SDCC people into giving us a room with tables in it. We could order pizza. |

Jenny: yep. More of us. Mandi: I can't even tell who anyone is.

The Artwork Jenny: I'm not even sure how I got lucky enough to get this from Anna. I think I made some comment about how I was going to start a themed collection about The Maxx. Anna's got a pretty great collection of Sandman stuff. So I think that I said I'd do something for her. Boy, did she get the short end of the stick, here. Besides the fact that I haven't finished hers yet (I've thrown away three horrid attempts), mine's gonna suck. And hers rules. Go check out her website at http://home.att.net/~ah-art/. Mandi: That is a really great piece. I considered having a darkling themed collection but I lost interest. |
